We have two little chihuahuas that are house-pad trained. The 'dog' pads are too thin and messy - so we use regular bed pads. They end up cheaper and cleaner! -- These are great for little chihuahuas.

While these underpads are not as thick as the expensive ones I used to purchase at drugstores, they are much thicker and fluffier than most blue chux pads. An added benefit is the ease of unfolding these underpads. The typical blue chux pad sticks together and is difficult to unfold, which is very annoying. At approximately 21 cents per pad if you purchase them with the "subscribe and save" plan and free shipping, they're a great deal. I use this as pee pads for my two small indoor dogs. I subscribe to this from Amazon.com because prices can't be beat; I buy a case (which comes in packs of 10 for a total of 150 pads/case) and have it shipped every other month for less than $30. I like this larger size, and when the dogs pee properly on it, I find these to be sturdy and absorbent and to be as good as or better than the pads you find at pet stores, Target, etc. -- Pee Pad for Dogs
