I use Castor Oil on my skin every morning and night and I LOVE the results!! The fine lines have disappeared around my eyes and my skin is silky smooth and much more radiant looking. I have used Este Lauder and other even more expensive skin creams with much less visible results. I just pour a bit into my hand and then dampen my other hand with some water, rub my hands together and apply it all over my face, neck, arms, etc. (anywhere that is dry)....I even apply it around my eyes. Combining a little water with it seems to help it absorb faster into the skin. It has also cleared up my skin and healed any noticeable imperfections (I am not a teenager so I don't know how acne prone skin would react....I do however still breakout occasionally but have had no problems with using this oil). My skin is now better looking than it has been for years. I have only used this brand of Castor Oil (Home Health) because it was recommended to me by a friend (because it is cold pressed and cold processed) so I do not know if other brands would work as effectively. I read hair blogs and ppl were talking about how Castor oil thickens your hair. So of course I had to try it. I apply castor oil to my scalp two to three night out of the week. My hair is thickening and growing well with a thicker pattern and grain of hair. Even the hair on my sides have started to grow in after about 2 months of using CO. Its almost as if the CO is affecting the texture of my hair in a good way. I have sort of went Castor Oil crazy! Because Cator Oil is so thick, I mix it with my lotions when applying them to my body for added moisture. I apply it to my skin after I have applied a facial mask and on days that I know I will wash my hair ( Im AA lol), i apply a generous amount to my scalp, cover my head with a plastic cap and warm towel and rinse. CO is especially good for AA hair because our scalps tend to dry out sooo easily. This is definitely one of my staple products!
